In the first century, proclaiming the word of God was accomplished through direct person-to-person evangelism – individual encounters and baptisms, sermons in marketplaces and worship spaces, pastoral letters sent to churches. In the 21st century, modern methods have replaced much of that tedious and time-consuming footwork. Through speaking engagements, social sites, online videos, recorded interviews, books, and TV and radio commercials, Multiple Revelations communicates the complete word of God and the Good News of Jesus Christ. It is our goal to inspire Christians, especially young people, to foster relationships, to avoid sin, and to live not as politicians or social commentators say we should, but as Christ says we must.
Our goal is to make disciples of Jesus Christ using the complete word of God. We accomplish this by offering targeted messages through speaking engagements, books, TV and radio commercials, online videos, recorded interviews, and social media. We encourage prayer and church attendance, making and developing relationships, and studying the word of God to learn how to avoid sin. Through these efforts, we help Christians understand the importance of pulling politics out of our relationship issues, and inspire them to unite behind Jesus Christ.
Multiple Revelations is dedicated to making disciples of Jesus Christ. Through modern communications methods including social media, video, commercials, books, and speaking engagements, Multiple Revelations encourages people to make and develop relationships, avoid sin, pull politics out of their daily lives and interactions, and focus on living as Jesus preached and modeled.
Our work is rooted in the Bible and aimed at teaching God’s word as articulated by Jesus Christ:
“The best gift God gave us is each other,” says Tom Wade, founder of Multiple Revelations. One reason he advocates church attendance is to foster relationships with others pursuing the Christian life.
“Many people have lost respect for one another,” says Tom. “If you love someone, you won’t lead them into sin.”
Multiple Revelations accepts donations through churches.
Tom Wade has been a devout Christian and active churchgoer all his life. Born into a seventh-generation Methodist family, Tom’s maternal great-great-great-great grandfather, John Barber, was a peer of Methodism’s founder, John Wesley, and served on Wesley’s Legal Hundred, including two terms as president. His paternal great-great-great-great grandfather, William Staughton, was a Baptist minister, first president of George Washington University, and the chaplain of the U.S. Senate.
Born in Denver, Tom has spent most of his life in Virginia, growing up in Newport News and most recently making his home in Virginia’s capital city of Richmond, where he now worships with an Assembly of God congregation. Tom, an application engineer and 1980 graduate of Virginia Tech, is the author of An Indictment of the American Clergy: The End to Racism and Abortion Comes Through the Church and Not the Government published by WestBow Press, and Multiple Revelations About the Book of Revelation: Pulling Politics Out of Our Relationship Issues, published by Dementi Milestone Publishing. He has two grown daughters.
Tom is passionate about proclaiming God’s word and the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as well as his message about fostering relationships, avoiding sin, and pulling politics out of our daily lives and interactions. Tom is available to speak in person to church congregations, organizations, and groups, and will travel as necessary.
“We solve our problems by making relationships and avoiding sin,” says Tom.
Multiple Revelations about the Book of Revelations
The inspiration of Jesus Christ and the love of God is the most powerful force in the entire world. Since this is true, I can saythat the leaders of this country do not live in Washington, D.C., or any state capitol. The leaders of this country should be living in the pulpits of our churches on Sunday morning. So, we need to take the inspirational power away from the politicians and give it to Jesus Christ. This can be accomplished by going to church together. When we go to an all-white church or an all-black church, then we are making the worship of God about ourselves and not about Jesus Christ.
